Aspiring to follow in his late inventor father's footsteps, the brilliant seventeen-year-old high-school senior, David Raskin, finds himself with his back to the wall, unable to afford MIT's tuition fees. However, things will take an unexpected turn when David stumbles upon his genius dad's blueprints of an untested time machine, and after persistent experimentation, decides to use it for personal gain.
